Our Commitment
to Sustainability
Plain
and simple, these are the practices we’ve committed to as people who
love the earth and want to support our community over profit. We believe
in creating flowers to honor life’s special moments while also
considering mother earth.

Donating Event Flowers
We offer clients the option to repurpose their event flowers by donating them to local non-profit Stems for Seniors (https://stemsforseniors.org/ ).
They reuse the flowers in recycled containers, gifting them to local seniors—spreading beauty and kindness while reducing waste.

Using Compostable Materials
Using Compostable Materials
Our floral designs are thoughtfully planned to reduce waste and use sustainable materials.
Sourcing Materials
When sourcing materials like vases/ containers, votives, fabrics, etc. we look for second hand first, putting our thrifting skills to the test! This keeps items out of the landfill, but also keeps our consumption sustainable, reducing demand for new products and resources.
-
No floral foam – we never use this non-biodegradable material, which breaks down into harmful microplastics.
- Instead, we rely on reusable and compostable mechanics like flower frogs, chicken wire, Oshun pouches, and Agra-wool.

Locally Grown & Seasonal Flowers
We
prioritize seasonal flowers from local farms whenever
possible. Our favorite is Sunny Meadows Flower Farm https://sunnymeadowsflowerfarm.com/about/
Locally grown blooms require fewer resources to grow and transport, and they support our community. Stephanie has even started a small cut-flower garden with her mom to help supplement some of our blooms & foilage!

Education & Advocacy
Sustainability is an ongoing journey, even for us, but we are passionate about sharing what we’ve learned, helping our clients make eco-conscious flower choices, and advocating for greener practices in the wedding industry.
